Project Summary

This $40-million, state-of-the-art facility became the home of Eastern Health’s Molecular Imaging Program in 2016. The LEED Silver facility consolidated existing nuclear medicine services with new technologies such as a PET/CT scanner and cyclotron, greatly improving the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses such as cancer in Newfoundland and Labrador. Mills & Wright completed the planting design which included an ambitious plant palette challenged by an extensive underground network of cables and wires. Our team prepared the contract documents, administered the tender and oversaw construction. The project was completed on schedule and under budget.
